“Disgusting”

Fecal matter was on a towel given to us by housekeeping. Night manager notified & given the towel. A bug was found in the bathroom. Something like petrified vomit was on the wall next to the toilet paper roll. A PVC pipe was found under the AC unit by my 11 month old son. The carpet had not been steamed cleaned since the days of Moses. This is not a place for people with respiratory conditions. There were 2 working washing machines in the hotel, but only 1 working dryer. The night manager was drying guest's wet clothes. The hot breakfast was powder eggs, no bacon, gravy, no biscuits, DIY waffles & crappy coffee. There was algae on the swimming pool steps. The cable was out in our bedroom. The mosquitos were swarming. There was no evidence of any mosquito abatement used. Every guest we ran into offered us OFF. My poor kiddos got eaten alive because Hawthorn couldn't bother to use CUTTER on their outside lawn and perimeter. Do you give your guests poop towels at your house? I don't either. Where do you get poop towels? A crack house? Is this the standard now? Do you typically clean your house up a bit before people come to your house? I do too. This was a bad dream, right? No, I paid $264.00 for this. I want my money back for sure. The managers, GM...whoever is throwing the Wyndham name away with both hands. For shame. Nothing was done to remedy the situation. Would you go back to that dirty hell? Me neither. Wyndham, you should have made this right with us. Our money is hard earned like everyone else. I gave it to you for all of this. Very lousy. I should have paid attention to the other reviews, but I thought they were just picky people because "Wyndham wouldn't do that". A couple of hundred dollars later...what an expensive mistake.
