“Nice stay but Housekeeping staff leaves early in morning. I think Carmen in housekeeping runs the show there.”

Very nice place and very clean. The only problem was on Saturday wanting to sleep in a little since I travel on business all week long and was on a trip with family We got a call from the front desk that the housekeeping staff was leaving and we needed to leave the room if he wanted it cleaned that day. It was about 10:15 a.m. I guess Carmen was scheduled to leave at 10:30. While talking to the front desk I could hear Carmen complaining about us not leaving fast enough for her. The front desk person really tried to mute her, but I could still hear her. Front desk staff did not seem to have too much control over housekeeping staff. You could tell the front desk person was embarassed. Seems like maybe Carmen runs the show around there. And I am assuming that it was Carmen because that is who we left a tip for when we checked out in her envelope.
