“HAWTHORN SUITES IN GREENVILLE SC”

  , West Palm Beach
First off, I don't like giving bad reviews unless I was specifically mistreated with which in this case i'm not, staff, front desk, cook and housekeeprs are all awesome! no complain there except for the Gen mgr., I think? One day, I went to front desk asked for another key cause I locked myself out of the room. I've been staying in this hotel for like five weeks so most of the staff knows me already! When I ask for the key the reception ask what room I'm at so stated the room number and he looked and he says Mrs. Adams, I said yes! he began to program the key and the manager turns around and says, do you have ID??!! and she told the receptionist that he should always ask for ID. I told her yes I do and I went back in the car and showed it to her and I told her, just so you know i've been here for almost 6 weeks the staff knows me by now! Oh I know but he supposed to ask for ID! and if the corporate was here and saw that, he would have been in big trouble! I wanted to tell her that I can appreciate that because I know that's for my own security! BUT, COME ON! I was going to tell her! why don't you step out of your comfort zone, go walk around and inspect the facility, stay overnight in one room Then, tell people at your corporate what you think and feel! everything is bad inside the room nothing really works to par, from shower rod, bath tub, water pressure, sink, stove paint peeling off, room with cockroach, insects bugs crawling at night, leak ceiling etc.. then work on your staff! they say you get what you pay for! yes, $49 per night for long term stay is a steal! however, I will never do that again! I've stayed here 3 years in a row and this year is it for me with Hawthorn in Greenville! for long term stay Hawthorn is not candlewood suites, staybridge, hampton inns or specially Marriott! I'm sorry!
