“Nothing To Write Home About”; Dec 15, 2012 Sharon W, Brunswick; The rooms have the potential to be great. The room has a full kitchen, dining room, living room, and separate bedroom/bathroom. There is a separate sink in the bedroom area. i had to change rooms 3 times due to ineffeciencies. The dishwasher was broke in the first room. An old pizza was left in the refrigerator in the second bedroom and it had old model television sets.The third bedroom consisted of cooking/eating/drinking utensils that were mismatched, old, rusted, and chipped. I had a double queen room and both comforters had obvious stains on them. The wooden furniture in the living and dining room were a bit worn and had stains that were permanen. When the maid started their rounds to clean the room, I asked for a set of additional towels. The maid had no clean towels on the cart and said she would have to wash more towels. In lieu of not being able to provide towels off the cart, the maid retrieved towels for me from another room. My experience was much worse but I don't have time to type everything. I'm a frequent travel and I've stayed in numerous hotels but never bothered to write a review. I felt my disappointing stay at the Hawthorne Suites(formerly The Jameson Inn) had to be shared. The owners have to do better if they want to stay in business.
