“I will never stay at a another Wyndham property again because of this experience in Detroit, MI”

With the exception of one manager whose name I did not remember, the lack of professionalism at this property was unparallelled to anything I have ever experienced. I have stayed at hotels all of the US and Europe, and the staff, particularly a member of the desk staff were overall very unprofessional. My defining moment was getting to the lobby to get some breakfast for my 8 year old daughter, 6 year old son, and 2 year old daughter so that my wife and I would not have to dress them as it was cold this past Monday morning before we left, and I was told that no food could be taken out of the lobby area. I explained to the desk staff person that I merely had three pieces of fruit, and cereal for my babies, and she told me that I could not take it out of the lobby. I paid $170/night to stay at this hotel and was told that I could not take food to "MY BABIES!!!!...MY BABIES!!! I was only allowed to take the food after the Manger on duty heard the staff person telling me this an "Overrode" her. Whomever is reading this review, my experience a this hotel in Detroit, MI has soured me to the point that I WILL NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER WYNDHAM PROPERTY EVER AGAIN. I was even refused towel sets for my family of 5 and would be given only three by the cleaning staff person. THIS WAS THE MOST HORRIBLE HOTEL STAY OF MY LIFE!!!!
