“Watch your credit card!”

- The hotel authorized a $150 for incidentals on my card. I checked back two days later to make sure the charges hadn't cleared, as there were no incidentals. Turns out the charges had cleared my account. I called the hotel to notify them of the error. They told me I was being charged $150 for smoking in my room. I told them that they were mistaken as I've never in my life smoked anything. The clerk said the maid had a picture of ashes on her phone and that they wouldn't refund my money. The manager refused to get on the phone and agreed to refund my money only after I refused to hang up and threatened to call my credit card company and report them for fraudulent charges. I was then told not to stay at the hotel again. No problem!
