“Managers did their best to be helpful”

Unfortunately a series of odd things made my stay less than satisfactory, but all the managers did try the best they could to be of service under the circumstances. It started out with cleaning staff being loud calling to one another down the hallways. (Manager dealt with that situation, which was great) But then there was a large fly in the room. Someone came to spray,..but later on another stubborn fly appeared and the front desk just gave me the spray, which was helpful...but still annoying when I was so tired. But then there was LOUD noise from entertainment at restaurant next door kept me from getting to sleep. The night manager did her best to deal with situation - and I was so tired at 10:30pm from long travel day and at the point of tears (and I felt bad later, because I know she really did the very best she could! And I appreciate the gesture of her manager of reducing my bill by $20) But again the cleaning staff, just has an odd attitude. Before I left I was concerned about a stain in the bathtub. I called morning front desk. She told me the cleaning staff would be up to check it out. I waited in my room for about 15 min and no one had come. So I called the front desk - and she put me directly through to cleaning dept. The woman who answered, said in an annoyed voice, everything was clean..(so even though the front desk person thought someone was coming to check my concern - the woman from cleaning dept apparently had no intention of coming up to my room, while I had been waiting? So I asked her again to please come up - so let's just say she had an odd attitude re: customer service. When she did come up..she claimed it was just rust. Ok, fine..but I had not seen rust like that in a tub, so whatever..but it was still her job to come up when a customer was concerned. BUT the managers were very courteous and did try their best.
