“Upsetting”

I don't know where to start besides the beginning. When I arrived on Monday the 21st I was treated to not having a room in my name which was probably my companies error, but when a room was found and I lugged all my bags up to the 3rd floor and went to put my key in the door I faintly heard someone talking in the room I was assigned. I knocked and my female supervisor answered with a look on her face of shock. The front desk staff member had just given her the room key and couldn't figure out he just assigned someone else to the same room. So I walked back down to the desk to stand around for 5 minutes while he talked to a manager to find me a room. The fact that he had literally just given the room to another person and then assigned it to me bewilders me. Next for at least three days of returning to the hotel between 5-6pm no one was at the front desk. On one occasion I waited for five minutes trying to purchase laundry detergent and ended walking away with it so I could do laundry. I came back in the morning to inform the desk staff, but how many people don't do that. In your key card slips it states that every 5th day of your stay your room is supposed to be "sanitized". I was there from the 21st of July to the 7th of August and not once did I notice "sanitization". Three separate occasions I left my room for work at 730a removed my do not disturb sign and came back at 5p to a dishelved room. I don't expect someone to clean up after me, but I would like the service expected from staying at a hotel of clean towels and replacement toiletries. My last problem was the AC, during my stay the weather in Oshkosh was decent not sweltering but definitely humid on days. From the moment I walked into my room it stunk of mildew and stagnant air so bad I had to buy an air freshener. On a good note I did enjoy the vintage, especially the bartender Landri. She was very kind and was always happy to help us. She conversed with us and i thoroughly enjoyed that.
