“Location of the Hotel is good. The current condition of...”; Feb 17, 2013 Jan Z, Sioux Falls; Location of the Hotel is good. The current condition of the rooms (I have been in 4 different rooms during my stay at this hotel) appears to be directly related to the poor quality of construction at the time of initial build. The substrate of the bathrooms and kitchen area (where tile was applied) was substandard resulting in failure of the tile floor. The wall and ceiling texture was applied in relatively large volumes to cover the substandard wallboard surface prep. Now, (albeit) the staff is doing everything they can to maintain the rooms; the hotel shows wear not directly proportional to the age of the facility. The Management Staff has been spectacular; attempting to address my each request---they have done so. Their performance has offset the quality of the room. Long term stays (such as mine) from October, 2012 are dependent upon a good quality TV in the room.....The TV quality is marginal for a facility of this type. One room had TV of such poor quality that it was hard to watch. I did not complain because I knew that the next week would be in another room (by request).
