“Everything was very nice. The only thing was noise. There...”; Mar 06, 2013 Jean I, Sparland; Everything was very nice. The only thing was noise. There was an Illini game so the hotel was sold out. There were many people in the hallways. We thought the door/doorway needed some sound proofing. As people were walking down the hallway it sounded like they were just standing at our door talking. I could hear everything they were saying clearly! That was a lovely breakfast by the way!

I appreciate you taking the time to write about your stay. I am glad to hear that you were satisfied by recent stay. I do apologize for the noise, as you say, when we are sold out, particularly when the crowd is somewhat boisterous, the noise can be a little excessive. We've experimented with sound proofing but the best solution seems to be just trying to keep the noise level down. To that end we usually patrol the hallways and take other steps to encourage guests to confine themselves to their rooms, it sounds as though we were asleep at the wheel on this particular night and I apologize for that. « hide
