“Bad experience, Wise managment”

  , Cumming
We started out by checking in and finding out that the 2 suites we had booked were reduced to one suite and a bedroom. The owner gave us some money off for that. Then at midnight we heard this loud noise and got up to realize that water was pouring in the bathroom from above and then proceeded to leak in the bedroom part. We called the manager and she said she would have to move us. While we are waiting in the hall in pajamas the alarm went off. The people around were coming out asking what was going on. The manager finally came and gave us a key. I took the key and went into the stairwell and got locked in because the key didn't work. I pounded on the doors of floor 2 and 3 and finally my husband noticed me and let me out. My husband went to tell the manager the key wouldn't work and she said she would be down at the desk to get him a new key. I stayed at the new room to hear the manager knocking on someones door. They opened the door and the noise from the TV was blaring. I heard the manager say she had complaints and would have to move him. She said the room number that she was moving him to and I looked and it was right next door to us. I then stopped her in the hallway and told her that wasn't going to work. We finally got into the new room after being up from midnight to 1:30. We had our sons graduation the next day and needless to say we were sleep deprived. My husband went down the next day and told them we shouldn't be charged for that room because we didn't get a lot of sleep. The girl said she couldn't do much about the water heater pipes bursting and would talk to the owner. I got a call later in the day saying they would comp that room. I think they did the right thing but the experience wasn't very good. The hotel is very pretty and we really liked the king size room before it starting pouring unknown water on us. I rated the experience poor but the management did the right thing
