“Clean & modern with a twist of arrogance and a lies”

Upon arival we were informed by the hotel manager that the room (King bed with a pull out couch) we reserved was not available. Mr. Patel was very short with me and said he didn't know what travel site i went through but they were wrong. I called and spoke with their company directly. I had my confirmation but it conveniently lacked details regarding my resrvation. I manager was not willing to do anythiwng to accomidate us and said this was not his problem. He said I was already recieving a discount. The room that could accomidate us and was more along the lines of our original reservation would be an additional $150. He offerend an air mattress to solve the problem. With no other option (all other hotels were full due to the state track meet we were attending) we had no choice but to accept. I have a strong feeling this is how this hotel opperates on a regular basis as i counted atleast 15 air matresses being delivered throughout the hotel. Our stay was breif and being close to the beach was very nice. The room we had was clean, well maintained and the housekeeping staff was wonderful. I just can't get over the way the manager made my family feel like such an inconvenience to him. We would not likely stay at this facility again.
