“Convenient but lacking”

We were showing at the international horse park in Conyers GA and this Hotel is five minutes car ride away. It is much more convenient than all the other Hotels in Conyers 15 Mins away and all the traffic congestion at I- 20 which can make the trip even longer. Really handy for early morning feeds and late night checks. Staff are very pleasant, rooms are adequate with usual standard features, we did have a small kitchen area and the hotel was very quiet with no heavy outside traffic noise.Breakfast was open at 5.30am which was nice as some riders have early starts but this is where I fault the Hotel. Coffee was the only beverage offered, no hot water to make beverage of choice and no tea bags. I guess I could have asked and got some but not on our time schedule. The toaster took for ever to toast the bland brown bread and the only butter available was something in a squeezy bottle that resembled engine grease. I would have preferred the small butter tubs but did not see any. Fruit was apples and oranges, no bananas. La Quinta's breakfast bar beats this by far. My other moan was insufficient towels, one set each which is fine if you are only staying a night however, as hot and dirty competitors we can run back and shower between classes and then again before we go out for dinner.Apart from that we are booked in again for the Championships but I will request more towels and I will heat my tea water in my room and bring my own tea bags, will draw the line at butter though!
