Dear Christi,I wanted to reach out to you in response to your recent review about the Hawthorn Suites in Meriden, CT. I am sorry to hear that your experience with us was not to your satisfaction. We at Wyndham strive to deliver a great experience to every guest; and it seems like we have failed at our mission to do so. I will bring your review to the attention of my front desk staff so they can improve on their inter-personal skills & also to the attention of my housekeeping supervisor; so she can keep the smoking smells out of Non-Smoking rooms and pay very close attention to detail. Although it is disheartening to read reviews such as yours; it does help us stay on our toes and continue to strive towards providing a great experience to all guests. Dear Louise, Thank you so much for writing a review in regards with your recent stay at the Hawthorn Suites. I'm glad to know that you found the accommodations comfortable and to your liking. I do want to apologize about our current Grab & Go breakfast. We are infact upgrading the guest breakfast experience later this summer; to include a full hot breakfast. The upgrades will also include a business center which we currently do not have. I will bring your concerns up in our next staff meeting to make the front desk aware of letting every guest know all the amenities that we have to offer at this facility. Dear Mr. Jason,Thank you so much for your glowing response of your recent stay with us. I am glad to hear that you had a good experience with us and enjoyed the room as well. You're correct about the room being more like home or an apartment style. All of our rooms set-up as a studio style suite with a full kitchen that includes a 2 burner stove top, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher & garbage disposals.
